5 years ago, a crazy girl decided to go on a New Years Eve date with an even crazier girl and look where we are today! I couldn't be happier with Kristen by my side, enjoying all the cray-cray, fun adventures, and overall awesomeness this world and life has to offer. She truly is my better half who talks me down from the edge, makes me laugh to the point of snorting, consoling when needed most, and constant support! I am unbelievably lucky to have her in my world as an amazing life partner! Here is to a million more years together!
Today not only marks the end of one year and the hopefully beginnings of another, it also marks my last day as an employee of the Commonwealth. It is bittersweet in a way. I will miss my coworkers and friends, as well as the usual routines and faces along the way, but I'm excited for the new growth opportunities that lay ahead of me in this New Year and new position with the Harvard School of Public Health. I learned so much, from so many people who are dedicated to serving those within the Commonwealth. So with that, Cheers to a wonderful, crazy, trying, and rewarding 3+ years as an employee for the great state of Massachusetts.
Finally, I am excited for the New Year. I am hopeful for all the new challenges, friends, running routes, and cycling goals that are all out there to be discovered.
Yet, in this final moment of reflection, I am grateful and thankful for the loving support of my family and Kristen, but also from all of my amazing 'out of this world' group of friends. You all rock and I wish you all a wonderful and safe New Years!
Cheers to all that lies ahead for each and everyone!
